# Credits and pricing

## How credits work

- **Everything costs credits.** Every image, video, voice clone and Prompt Agent message is paid with credits. The studio shows the credit cost before you start a generation.
- **Two balances.** Subscription credits come with your plan and reset every billing cycle. Top-up credits come from credit packs. Generations use subscription credits first, then top-up credits.
- **No rollover.** Unused subscription credits do not carry over to the next cycle. When a subscription ends, its remaining subscription credits are removed; top-up credits stay.
- **Top-up expiry.** Top-up credits are valid for 12 months after purchase. The Subscription settings page (https://socialart.ai/settings/subscription) shows the expiry date of each top-up.
- **Automatic refunds.** If a generation fails, its credits are refunded automatically to the balance they came from. Influencer Remix is the one exception: it uses AI preprocessing, so a failed Influencer Remix generation may retain a small part of the credits.
- **What drives the price.** Video is priced per second and depends on the model, resolution, quality tier and whether audio is generated. Images are priced per image and depend on the model, resolution and quality. Batch image generation (up to 4 images per request) multiplies the cost by the number of images.

## Subscription plans

All plans are billed monthly in euro through Stripe and can be cancelled at any time. Every plan includes AI image and video generation, image resolutions up to 4K, fast processing and support. Current prices are always on https://socialart.ai/pricing.

- **Change plan any time.** Choose another plan on the pricing page. The new subscription starts immediately with a fresh credit allowance and the previous subscription is cancelled automatically.
- **Out of credits mid-month?** Buy a credit pack, or switch to a bigger plan and start right away with fresh credits.
- **Cancelling.** Cancel in the Stripe billing portal (Settings → Subscription). You keep access until the end of the paid period; after that the subscription credits are removed. Top-up credits remain.
- **Invoices and payment method** are managed in the same billing portal.

## Credit packs

- One-off credit top-ups, bought in the app from the credits dialog (click your credit balance).
- Require an active subscription.
- Added to your top-up balance and valid for 12 months.
